Gravity

I'm inspired and well, downright moved tonight by the movie Gravity, with Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.
I went in not sure how they were gonna be able to fill 2 hours of people detached and floating in space but - they nailed it. To top it all off, we got to watch it in 3D. Truly incredible... Visually enchanting, stunning and not to mention had a phenomenal message.

I was motivated by the movie to research the meanings, latin origins and pictures of the word gravity and was enthralled by what I found:

 grav·i·ty  (grv-t)
a. The natural force of attraction exerted by a celestial body, such as Earth, upon objects at or near its surface, tending to draw them toward the center of the body.

But then as I was reading, I kept noticing that the word celestial kept coming up, so I dug deeper.

ce·les·tial  (s-lschl)
1. Of or relating to the sky or the heavens: Planets are celestial bodies.
2. Of or relating to heaven; divine: celestial beings.
3. Supremely good; sublime: celestial happiness.

When you find yourself in an impending doom sort of situation, you start to question if living is really worth fighting for. Sometimes people may feel like giving up, or just letting the oxygen run out is the path they wanna choose, or maybe evn the only option they have. But, it's not the only option you have. In my opinion, we should fight for our lives, we should hold on, pursue our life, and see it through the way it was designed for us. We were given our lives for a reason. Each and every one of us have a purpose, even if you may not be sure still of what your purpose is, you have one. You have people looking up and waiting for you to come home.

Our lives, our days, were not meant to mourn over the past, or live with regrets and sadness but rather they are meant for living, joy, love, fulfillment, being the good and the change you wish to see in this world, going after your dreams.
Standing up on our two feet, even if it feels like we weigh 1000 pounds, get up, take a step towards your life and really live it.

Let yourself tear up if something moves you. Let yourself be inspired and make a change, start a project or quit a bad habit, even if all seems hopeless and lost.

Still try.

Do it anyway.

It is worth it, and sometimes you might be seriously surprised by the people and outcomes that come out of the woodwork.

Be open to it.

Powerful reminder.
