Patience really is a virtue

 It can all change in a second.

This past few months have kind of been tough on Riley and I; mainly financially. There are various reasons why but in a nutshell, we've been stressed.
Riley is usually the one who's (like my Dad) very straight-forward, OCD and on time, every time with our money. And because of this, it causes him to be way more stressed than me. Me? I'm a hopeful, idealistic kind of person. I see an issue and I'll kind of just brush it away and go, "I'm sure it'll work out"
But not lately. For the past couple months I'VE even been stressed. That's abnormal because I'm usually the one that's in the background like, coloring or something, going "stressed is desserts backwaaaards...Let's get cupcakes!"

But through it all, Riley and I have stayed close to each other and God, staying positive, happy and keeping ourselves open for blessing. I won't sugar coat it, it has been rough to stay positive, especially when you're used to getting $300 a month just for groceries, and being able to go to the movies and shopping whenever you want.
We both knew though, deep in our hearts that this "dry spell" with our finances was going to, it had to, come to and end soon. We didn't know how or when but we kept the faith.
This period of time has also brought us even closer, amazingly. We never once got into a fight about money. We worked through it. If a moment started to get heated we would just close our mouths and do what we needed to do to get through it. We were NOT going to let something as measly as money, get between us. We're a team :)

Yesterday I got the dreaded text, again, that said
we don't have enough money for bills this month.

But TODAY. It all changed.

I got a call from Riley and even though we may have some lingering lack of monies here and there until we move to Italy, our dry spell has ended! Our (or at least mine anyway) stress is gone! Pressure lifted.

So I urge you to stay strong, keep on keepin' on and it will all get better.

Any dry spell, or transition period or hurrying up and waiting that's happening in your life, will change. It will get better.

I remember my mom always told me as a kid;
when something bad or confusing happens, ALL the angels up in heaven and ALL the demons in hell are waiting for your reaction.

So make your response to life positive, and with faith so that all the angels up in heaven can be the ones who help you through it :)

Seasons of waiting are designed to prepare you, stretch your faith, and get you ready for everything that's coming next. -Mandy Hale
