Road Trip Needs

 I wanted to post a list of things a person (or people) will need if they plan on taking a road trip. Of course this is all dependent on how many people, how far you're going, and what kind of vehicle you're driving. But you can customize for your own trip! :)

I also have a list for if you're bringing your kitty, as we brought ours on our most recent trip.

FOR PEOPLE:

~ Small cooler, minimal food such as meal replacement bars and protein shakes to save space in your car

~ Pillow and Blanket

~ Some type of organizer bin

~ An overnight bag for each night if you plan on stopping and staying anywhere

~ Pepto Bismol, Excedrin and any other medications you take

~ Real, paper map and any smart devices you have such as a portable GPS, smart phone etc.

~ Journal

~ CAMERA

~ Safety devices such as a personal alarm, gun, mace etc.

~ Music. Whether it be CD's, flash drive, MP3 player or your phone

~ Chargers for the devices you bring

~ Sunglasses (really helps to prevent your eyes from getting tired)

~ Regular sized toiletry items for destination but also small, travel sized products as well for the drive, last minute needs and your overnight stays.

• Whisps
• Small deoderant
• Small hair spray
• Small mouthwash
• Travel sized Tide or Shout stain remover wipes
• Baby wipes
• Toilet paper

~ Clothes (remember to bring comfy clothes for driving)        

 

 

  

 

FOR KITTY        

~ Kitty bag (like a baby bag), to tote around all your kitties needs

~ Travel sized litter box + Litter (the all natural, wheat kind is best for traveling)

~ Toys from home

~ Food

~ Double food/water bowl

~ Water

~ Treats for good behavior 

~ Leash (the halter kind is better for traveling)

~ Kitty carrier 

~ I highly recommend having your kitty microchipped

~ Collar and tag with your phone number engraved on it

 

This list is of course based on my kitty, Navi' and how he traveled. Your cat might be a little more nervous or act differently than mine, so again, you can customize your kitty list based on yours' personal needs.
