This is for real...

Tonight I am laying on this bed that feels like a cloud, inside this room that's fit for a queen, at this really cool bed and breakfast in downtown Seattle, WA called The Sleeping Bulldog, and yes, I chose to stay here just for the name ;)
My room has SUCH an amazing view that I can't even put a picture on here, it woudn't even come close to doing it justice. I feel sooo blessed to be able to experience Seattle this way :)

Today has been quite an interesting day, to say the least. I arrived here in Seattle around 4pm, planned on making a stop in Lynwood, WA first, before going to see downtown but apparently God had another plan for me because I ended up right in the middle of downtown and sitting in front of the space needle. So I embraced it and went on in :)
It was such a quick, 'mistake' that I ended up there, on accident that I actually said out loud, "I wasn't expecting this!!" Looking around feeling embarrassed for yelling by myself haha.
Being up in the Space Needle was so cool, the view was breath taking. Everything that I see and will see on this trip puts me in such awe at what a beautiful world we live in.

After the Space Needle experience I then decided to retrace my route up to Lynwood, WA where I hoped I would find my sister, Angela. Nobody really knows (or remembers) that I have a sister, she has been MIA for I think, 8 or more years? It's sad, I miss her, her family misses her, but we continue to keep her in our prayers and hope she comes home soon. The effort returned no success but, I will hold onto my hope that I, and the rest of the family will see her again :)

After that I got lost for 2 hours, but, it allowed me to see the city, I also discovered that I LOVE Renton, WA. It's so pretty, well, this whole area is gorgeous. I love how its green, has trees, has the city, has the water...I love it all :)
It started getting dark, and the place I had reserved to stay tonight had fallen through so I was just out there, alone, having a stand off with the gas pump because I had never pumped gas by myself before, when The Sleeping Bulldog just fell together perfectly, which brings me here, tonight, warm, feeling blessed, listening to oldies music and realizing that this is it, it's actually happening. I'm doing this.

Tomorrow I will leave here around 11am and head towards Coeur D' Alane, Idaho.
Goodnight!

  1. I'm so glad you treated yourself on the first night, as I said before first things set a precedent! I just googled your next jaunt and it looks like beautiful farmland, and Coeur D'alene looks like an awesome place in the hills by a lake!!!! Wish I was there!
