Keep Calm & Travel On

I'm sitting here in my ORANGE hotel room watching Navi' explore every inch, listening to some soothing music and finally eating some real food...
I was more than pleasantly surprised after the ordeal I dealt with in Coeur d'Alene, ID. First telling me they were pet friendly but once i actually got there, they said, "oh....not cats though...." so I made a quick decision to just keep driving to Missoula, MT and with the help of my mom, I get to stay in this very comfy, very modern room, and my cat is welcome :) OH and it was an AMAZING price :)

I left Medford, OR on Wednesday afternoon after a long and sad goodbye with my mom, and headed up to Portland, OR...My first stop. I was so excited to be able to spend even more time with Rachel (my maid of honor) and also to be able to give her the gift I put together for her. She means so much to me, she was an awesome asset to my wedding and not to mention she looked absolutely stunning :)
We saw the group "drinkers with a running problem" all 150 of them it seemed like, jogging down her road as we sat out on her porch and had a beer, we witnessed what it's like to have 3 full blown, dominant male cats in the same house, and got to say one more goodbye-for-now.

I then left her house on Thursday morning (August 29th, 2013)  to head up to Seattle, WA where my cousin Steph and her husband live.
...I could write a book on how amazing that was. So awesome. So much fun, alot of reminiscing, even more laughing and most importantly we were able to revitalize our relationship. That makes me so happy. I love that girl, and clearly, nothing is going to end us for good :)

I spent the whole weekend with her and Bobby seeing Seattle, bonding with their pets, having a sleepover in the living room, going out to eat...it was pretty awesome. I'm so grateful for that time we were able to have. NOW - Riley and I will be waiting with open arms for them to come see us in Italy!!!

After Seattle, today, I left...My goal being to make it to Great Falls, Montana... Nope. I made it to Missoula. And you wanna know what? There was only 3 more hours to get to Great Falls, I found out tonight after settling in. So....Tomorrows adventures include my goal being to make it to Dickinson, North Dakota. This is a route I've never taken so I'm pretty excited :)
